REFUGEES WELCOME

The goal was to throw the best "Welcome to Twin Falls" surprise party for the refugee children. Thank you to all our Ooh La La! friends and clients for donating toys, books and games for our 4th annual "New Year, New Wish" drive. Each year, you help make these children's very first year in the United States special. You should of seen their faces when they arrived at the gym and saw the CSI Men's Basketball team there waiting for them with sweets, treats, toys, books and ready to play basketball with them!!! I can not describe the energy of happiness that filled the gym, 50 boys and girls, feeling on top of the world for a moment. I was so happy for them, reminded me of when I moved to America. My hope is that they feel this special everyday in this country, that they feel inspired, driven and confident to pursue their own dreams! I hope that the older kids left curious about CSI, academia, college and pursue a higher education and career of their passion -“I think it's important for us to begin bridging academia as an option early on, introduce and welcome refugee children to the campus, so that they feel higher education is a possible goal for them.” http://www.kmvt.com/…/CSI-mens-basketball-team-works-with-l… <3I wish for them to feel like EVERYTHING is possible, and the opportunities are LIMITLESS in this beautiful country, and it starts right here in Twin Falls for them.
